Morning Prayer
by Mary Lou Graves
Dear Father in Heaven how great you are and how
good you are.
It is so wonderful to know that you are in total
control.
That you are just and fair and true to your promises.
Hallowed and great is your name in all the earth.
Father I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your
goodness towards me.
How you have sheltered, guided and guarded me all of my
life.
The opportunities you have given me and the blessings
you have poured down on me.
You blessed me with a wonderful Godly mother who helped
me make and mold me,
you have me a good husband and three healthy children
you made a way for me to have a comfortable and
bountiful life.
I have had so many opportunities to hear and learn your
truths all of my life,
for which I owe a great debt.
I thank you for the watch and care over my children.
Bless them Lord and show me what to do to help them.
Forgive me Lord when I am weak in faith when I doubt,
when I neglect.
Keep me humble and close to you.
Help me with my walk so I will be able to receive the
great promises
and live with you and your son Jesus, whom you sent to
save me.
Help me to become more like him and in his name I pray.
Amen. |
